Mrs. Triana’s Ram Report

We kicked off a great week with teacher professional development focused on collaboration and continued growth!

We also held our first Ramily Pods, centered on respect and belonging. Our Rams absolutely loved the experience, and it was wonderful to see our Ramily Values in action as students connected with one another across grade levels. Thank you to our dedicated staff for the time, thought, and care you put into creating meaningful experiences that help every Ram feel valued.

Please be sure to read the entire newsletter and scroll down to review important dates and linked Halloween information!

Celebrating Our Rams

Each week, our staff looks for classes demonstrating our Ramily Values—kindness, caring, respect, responsibility, friendliness, and safe choices.

Congratulations to this week’s shoutouts:

Ms. Rosario's First Grade Class is being recognized for demonstrating kindness, respect, and curiosity in STEAM! Students listened respectfully during class discussions and showed a genuine eagerness to learn, explore, and ask questions. They also demonstrated responsibility by making safe choices throughout the activity and working together to clean up.

Ms. Brda's Second Grade Class has been walking down the hallway of Riker Hill following all of the HALLWAY expectation this past week. Way to show respect to other Rams!

Way to go, Rams! We are so proud of you!

Ramily Tip for Home

This month, our Ramily is focusing on being Respectful by treating others the way we want to be treated, valuing our differences, listening to others, and making choices that help everyone feel safe.

During Violence Prevention Week, we will reinforce the importance of creating a safe school community where every Ram feels valued and supported. Students will reflect on questions such as: What makes a school safe? How can we show respect to others? What are our recess expectations? How can we solve conflicts peacefully? Through these conversations, we will continue to strengthen our commitment to The Ramily Way and remind students that our words and actions make a difference in creating a safe and respectful school for all.

Important Ram-inders

Car Line & Morning Drop-Off
A huge thank you to all of our drivers! The car line has been running smoothly, and we appreciate everyone pulling all the way down—keep up the great work! As a quick reminder, the school day begins promptly at 7:55 AM. Arriving on time gives our students the best start to their morning, so thank you for your continued help getting everyone here bright and early!

After School Supervision
While many students like to stay and play on the playground after dismissal, it is important that they are actively supervised by an adult, and that students remain off the Lower Blacktop and fields to allow for after-school programs and safe bus departure.

REMINDER: NO Dogs on School Property
While we love all of our 4-legged Ramily members, it is technically against LPS BOE policy to have dogs on school grounds unless special permission is granted. With the volume of people on campus at pick-up, we are kindly requesting that you refrain from bringing your dog on school grounds or to your child(ren)'s dismissal location(s).

We appreciate everyone's cooperation and assistance with keeping students safe!
